At least they are running the combined version of the track. But what is going on with those prices of Endurance rental racing in the US
That’s what it costs to enter a top-level national here too.
Probably something for another topic, but what is it being compared to?
(If I’m doing the math right) $3.60/min of track time for an organized event isn’t outlandish and track rental at $1600/hr is not crazy money for a Friday at an indoor track.

One of the biggest cost factors is the batteries. It takes over $120k in investment to make this type of race work.
Not arguing for or against electric. Batteries just naturally have a lower energy density compared to gas so the investment is much higher.
Karting des Fagnes/Mariembourg (SWS) :
- 4h = 360 €
- 6h = 540 €
- 8h = 695 €
Ostricourt (SWS) :
- 8H40 = 920 €
Karting Genk :
- 6h = 900 €
Solokart (SWS) :
- 6h = 600€

Yeah I don’t see the point 
No idea why so pricey. They are limiting to 10 teams. Maybe BBQ lunch included or something.
Its electric and would be a new experience (long-form enduro).
It takes a lot of employees to run event. Costs are - Pay for Employees / Livestream Crew / Heat or Air for Building / Prize Money / Cost of Electric to Charge Batteries / And franchise fee / On and On … It all adds up. Plus owner has to make a profit it is a business.

No other K1 Speed is able to do a 1/2 hr & 6 hr and 12 hr Races. Owner developed his own Lithium Batteries and Charging Rates for the karts. And K1 Canton is the only K1 Speed with a inside outside track…

Here is the K1 Speed Canton Ohio Battery telemetry video explaining what all the teams can see on the karts they are running at the Endurance Race and determine when to pit and get a fresh kart.. NO other K1 Speed can do this for there races.. Its why K1 Speed Canton is the best K1 there is !!! James the owner and crew there are the best. They have done all of this to make it the best K1 Speed anywhere to race !!! COME RACE WITH US !!!
Yes they are doing a lot of good thing. But still only 10 teams. There is no use driving in such tight fields.
They only have so many karts there for kart switches during race.. Tanguy if that answers your question..
In a perfect world, yeah. That being said, I’ve done plenty of races with less than 10. It’s still fun. Heck, remember NJMP rental races?
