My grandson races at K1 Speed Electric Karts and is on the Teen League in Canton Ohio. If he places in the top 3 in his league . He gets to go to National Championship Course in California. The Karts are the same Maker of the karts he runs … EXCEPT they are there racing version… Here is some videos of them . Thoughts… 3 videos…

I think I’d be a little disappointed in a racing kart that has that amount of push, but there’s enough power to have fun.

I watched a bit and I really like it. It’s fast and it seems brutal.
I did race a Sodi Sport with a Rotax Max Evo and rental tyres, it is not that bad tbf
I lol’d at the first video and passing under waving yellow
EDIT : The karts seems really poorly set up. Lots of understeer, even for hard tyres. Doesn’t look like fun

TBF mon Cher Tanguy… I had a race where the E karts were a bit too much for some drivers. All that low end power means people will spin, putting down instant power in strange corners, we had a really messy race recently and I think the souped up karts were too much speed/grunt for some drivers.

It’s a mirage… the real Candy Mountain is racing
(But that can fuck up relationships too so careful how addicted you get😂)
I didn’t think to go that deep with the analogy - K1 is a track that would solve a LOT of problems in SoCal karting and I just wish it would open sometime soon!
