KA100 Rebuilds info

Is anyone willing to share any KA100 rebuild info? Looking for piston to bore clearance, ring end gap, ignition timing, squish clearance, barrel height/port timing etc. I am aware of what IAME recommends for these settings but looking for info about what others have found works better.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The crickets on this inquiry…ouch.

Have considered building engines for my kid. More than capable, but unsure I want to waste his racing time learning the little nuances on my own.

I did my own top ends last year but also managed to get myself disqualified from our biggest race of the year by not getting the squish set right so… My advice is to always check that.

I think these engines have been out long enough for builders to have learned enough to set themselves apart from mechanically inclined people rebuilding their own.

I know how to cook, but god damn does food from a trained chef taste better than what I can do!

I haven’t seen motors that aren’t set to max advance 0.106" and minimum squish (maybe a few thousands more when new to stay legal with some carbon build up). Only the Cu gasket on top with squish set by bottom gaskets. I assume that extra squish and less advance gives up too much mid and low power compared to any gain at high rpm.
