Hey guys, looking at parts online and its much easier to find KA100 vs VLR. Clutches and drive gears look the same, are they interchagable? What else…?
Ka100 and X30 are mostly interchangeable with parts like electrical, clutches and clutch drivers.
Same goes for the VLR and ROK 125cc
Ok, this I know, but I was asking about ka100, and let’s throw x30. Any parts interchangeable with the VLR?
VLR and KA100 use different carbs however you can use the DG-3HW rebuild kit for both. The clutches visually looks similar except for the extra hole on the driver and drum on the VLR. I bet if you called Comet kart sales and spoke someone in the tech they could tell you.
Good idea, I will give them a call and see what they say. Reason I aks is because theres alot more parts available online/facebook/ebay for the KA100.

Note that if you are competing in a series, they may require you to run the factory VLR parts. I know for nearly every series that runs KA, they require OEM IAME parts for basically every part of the engine.
True, but parts like front drivers I dont think need to be OEM
They definitely do need to be IAME OEM.
