KZ Modeling and Analysis

Consider the fact that tuners attend international races with more or less 5 different types of exhaust pipes that all fit homologation.

Having tested a small sample of different ones, it does change the engine’s behavior considerably.

There are also different diameter bushings to be used within the stinger joining the pipe to the silencer, which alter the powerband location.

Just like pipes, Elto makes silencers that are slightly different than one another to favour more bottom or top end power.

Since I don’t have a fleet of pipes, playing with stinger is on my list of things to test this off season.

I’d like to go buy another pipe, but it’s a bit pointless with the R3 out. I’ll probably just wait. (Maybe I can just flatten out the “2” and stamp my own “3” on the pipe if the pipes not changing anyways :joy:)
