Links to Kart Chassis Manufacturer Sites

If we need to move this go ahead…

Looking at the list I saw SQ. I remember reading years ago they were going to have a very low price point and I’m not sure it ever took off. Anyone have info on what happened to them?

I believe SQ is now the Torismo. The SQ was made entirely in China and I think the new one is too but I can’t confirm. I saw an SQ in British Columbia and it didn’t look terrible but I have heard bad things about the quality. The Torismo certainly looks the part. Cost for a rolling chassis seems to be about 2500USD.

Fixed Wright karts. Thanks. Had one myself at one stage. Always loved the anodized red look.

I tried to import them but Simon won’t sell to the US because insurance is too high and I respect his choice.

Insurance? What do you mean insurance to ship or he had more liability because the product being used in the US?

Liability was my understanding.

Maranello Kart and Velox are 2 different companies.

Good catch! Nik!!! (20 character limit… lol)

We are in Latin America and there is pisibility to bring our range in USA

I know some chassis models are shared between manufacturers. Just like automobile companies rebadge their vehicles. Is there a possibility of trying to identify those relationships in the post? Like DR and CRG, or FA Kart and Tony Kart.

It’s like you’re inside my brain! I started a google sheet last night that will that will show country of origin, parent brand, links and so on. @The_Karting_Channel is going to populate that sheet for us. While it won’t be very pretty, it will be a start… We can prettify things later

Just use the CIK-FIA homologation list, it shows the homologating company on there. In some rare cases the chassis is manufactured by one but homologated by another but it is rare.

Good point. Thanks for that. We’ll use those as a reference for CIK chassis.

We wan’t to cover non CIK homologated chassis too of course, especially the less well know US chassis. In time we’ll little data on the types of chassis they offer (Kid, cadet, shifter, LTO etc) too.
