Looking for “one man” kart stand plans

Does anyone have “plans” for a one man kart stand?

None electric, just purely mechanical .

Thanks

As an owner/user of a one man stand it seems way more time and cost effective to buy one. Making one is a fair bit more involved than fabing up a normal stand. I’m sure you know this and I apologize for posting without a proper answer to your question.

$375 seems like a steal compared to sourcing material, bending, cutting, welding etc. But I also understand the pride in making something!!

I don’t have plans but a simple scissor stand can be made into a one-man stand with a few additions. The video shows hooks but I used (2) 4 to 5" bolts with the head cut off to hook onto the frame at the nerf bar tubes. The other modification I made is not using a strap but a length of either square tubing or angle that is about 4 to 5’ long and then use a pin to link the top of each end of the scissor. This then becomes a lever to lift the kart. At the end of the day the pins come out and the stand folds like a regular stand. Lift the kart up by the front and pivot on the rear bumper. The scissor stand can be fairly easily duplicated, about the hardest part is finding swivel wheels for the front that are similar to the Streeter.

Doesn’t the fuel leak out when you do that? Not saying it’s a bad idea just wondering.

I put a loop in my vent line, had no issues.

As long as the cap is tight and in good condition it hasn’t leaked. Depending on your tanks designs and how you have your vent tube your mileage may vary
