Looking for Ricciardo S14 32mm shifter chassis

Was thinking of building another shifter, but Birel dropped that line/livery after the S14 versions. Anything out there?

Is this the one?

Or this one

You posted sticker kits, not chassis, but the rig in the 2nd pic looks correct.

Are you primarily looking for a 32mm shifter chassis or a Ricciardo/BirelArt shifter chassis? New or used?

I think it’s possible to still order a 32mm from one of the other brands in the BirelART lineup, but of the shifter stuff they work with is mostly 30mm so finding something used there might be difficult. Compkart might be something else to look into as it is made by Birel and uses Freeline components, though the chassis may be slightly different than what Birel offers (it’s definitely different for the single speed stuff, my suspicion is that shifter stuff is closer). I bring them up because they offer 32mm frames as their “default” so if you’re specifically looking for a used 32mm shifter frame made by Birel, then that might be easier to find than a Ricciardo.

If you’re interested, I do have a 2024 Compkart 32mm shifter chassis which I ran Stars with last year. I don’t have it listed anywhere because I’ve been weighing running it again this year, but if that’s of any interest shoot me a message.

I’d be surprised if any Ricciardo’s made it to the US in 32mm version. That size seems to be rare even in the BirelArt livery. Check out Jake’s chassis. The 32mm Comp is a nice chassis and he had that thing rolling!

Birel for design features, & Ricciardo for livery aesthetic. I figure they’re gone at this point, Birel scaled back to their name brand offering, Leclerc, & Kubica, but thought ask. I figure if there’s any out there, someone here would know.

Compkart is made at Birel, but are distinct & have a unique homologation. Most notable is they lack the adjustable steering support & shaft gimble mount, which is part of what I was interested in.

The single speed chassis is definitely its own thing, but like I mentioned the KZ chassis is closer to what you’d get with one of the BirelART models. The Compkart shifter frames do include the adjustable steering supports unlike their single speed karts. Here’s mine:

So I found a Ricciardo S14 DD 32mm chassis on Patrizicorse, but what are the component differences from KZ?

The steering uprights are different and won’t accept a shift lever.

Will also need spindles, front hubs, front brake kit, axle, pipe cradles, clutch lever hub assembly.

It’s got front brakes, but otherwise, yeah, everything else. Those Compkarts look good, but from the specs I’m seeing, are 30mm, not 32mm.

I have a 2020 32mm comp shifter in my garage. They have made them in both 30 and 32.

I’ve owned two of them, a 2022 and the 2024 currently in my garage. Both 32mm. If you have questions or need clarification you can always reach out to the J3 Competition folks directly too. They’re pretty easy to get a hold of and have been pretty great to work with.
