Lubrication

Hello All!

My second post here.
I have been browsing the forum and the net and can not find a good clear answer for this.

I’m cleaning up a second hand CompKart Cadet card for my son.

I need to lubricate everything properly.

Got the Motul 815640 Factory Chain Lube Line for the chain based on posts here.

Triflow for the axle and wheel bearings? I did not get that yet.

And I’m not sure about the tie rod ends.

And whatever else I’m missing…

I really appreciate the input.

Unless it has been sitting outside in the weather or has been run in the rain there isn’t too much to worry about. TriFlo can handle just about anything that moves. Personally, unless its loctited I will use a light grease on some threads, especially if it is into aluminum, steel on steel I usually leave dry.

I washed the kart so it definitely got some water.
I sprayed it with WD right after.
I’ll spray Triflow in the bearings I guess but I’m not sure about the tie rod ends.

Tri-Flow is fine for basically every bearing on the kart, including tie rod ends.

I agree. Tri flo if it moves. Just keep it off your brake rotor, brake pads, and out of your clutch.
