Hello guys, i just bought a maxter mxo engine paired with a lgk 32mm chassis. I don’t find many info online regard this engine(also chassis). I only found this photo with standar carburetion and to me it looks to lean. What do you guys think? I have a race this weekend and the temps will be low (around 12°C) , also i don’t have egt. Thank you all and sorry for my bad English.
I used to run maxter mxo when it was first manufactured. We’d typically run a main jet in the 120s or high teens in the UK with high octane fuel. 140s should be plenty safe.
Most notably, this info appears to be based on the K93 needle. Trying the other settings with something like a K98 will not work.
That said, I think if you follow the suggested changes for cooler weather then you’re probably safe.
What is the location of your track? This will help with more specific weather data.
How much rpm you were setiing it to be at max in trolley? Thank you for your answer!
Location is Bacau/Romania . I plan to use k23 needle , cd1/60 , dq270 and to start from 172 and bringing it down to be safe . I used Lke Ts1/ tm kz10 a few years ago and with k23 for example 160 was lowest i was going. Thank you for your answer
