I’m of the opinion that a hard tire (to a point) makes for better driving and learning because it’s less forgiving. They also last longer, which means less money spent per season. Cost effectiveness means more participation. More participation means more fun.
Unfortunately…
(Common scenario) Series: let’s throw a new tire or brand at a class that’s super healthy because it will sell 2-3 more sets per year per racer which is more money for us.
