MGM motor mount

I recently purchased a used 2023 MGM espionage; I put a new Lawson on it and am using an MGM 8-degree motor mount. It almost seems like no matter how tight I get the clamps after about 10 laps it loosens up so much that I have I have to pull off to address it. How can I keep the motor from sliding back?

My solution would be bolt-on engine stop:

This one from Seay HiPerformance, but others available.

The “standard” MGM mount is ok but that style is prone to loosening or other issues. I’ve never liked them. I recommend getting an Odenthal mount. They are pricey, but you’ll never worry about it again.

You no longer will be tightening the mount to the rails every time you want to change tension or gears. Simple loosen the sliding top plate.

You can find them used for a decent savings.
