What effect, if any do nerf bars have on setting up a kart. Some karts have springs, some have nuts and bolts, some have pins. On karts where they are fastened to the kart what change does tight or loose make?

Just adds slight stiffness to the frame longitudinally if they’re tight. 99% of the time they should be loose. I can’t actually think of a situation where they should be tight. Everyone runs them loose.
