New KR2 Chassis With Transferred Parts – Asymmetric Camber & Caster on Sniper Alignment

Recently I bought a brand new KR2 chassis and transferred all the components from my old chassis onto the new one.

However, I have noticed an issue after alignment. Using a Sniper laser system, with settings of NEG 1 mm camber / 1 mm toe out, the camber reference positions on the left and right sides are not the same.

The left camber eccentric is positioned at about the 9 o’clock direction, while the right side is around the 12 o’clock direction.

In addition, the caster measurement on the left side is 0.9 mm shorter than the right (left: 5.7 mm, right: 6.6 mm).

I have verified the chassis centerline by placing a ruler vertically at the midpoint, and the sweep height on both sides is exactly the same.

The steering wheel is confirmed to be perfectly straight, pointing forward, and the steering column was locked using a steering lock during measurement.

My question is: what could cause this situation?
Is it more likely that the original chassis components (such as the C-hubs / camber-caster eccentrics) are worn or deformed, or could there be an issue with the chassis itself?

Check spindle bolt for straightness, loosen the bolt slightly and turn it whilst you have to lasers on
