This seems like a great culture on your forum - I appreciate the accumulated knowledge I’ve read so far.
I am in my 30s with 3 youngsters that I’d like to get into karting (oldest is 5). 5y/o has been tooling around on an Actev Arrow electric kart (12mph limited) which has gotten him some experience with the break/gas combo as well as some pretty good directional coordination. Had a test on a kid kart a few weeks back and so right now I’m strategizing our entry purchase of a kid kart with a comer set up.
We’re in southern Wisconsin so have access to the Badger Karting Club and Sugar River Raceway in the area.
