Newbie question : exhaust "inner Pipe"

Hallo

I have just bought and old Tony kart. With a Vortex super rok motor on.

I took the end of exhaust apart today , and noticed that the inner part of the end, and the champer end from the exhaust was not on par (se my sketch) . Is this normal ?

I’m thinking the best way to answer this is:
The chamber at the end of the pipe is welded to the convergence cone or baffle cone, it’s there to act as a silencer chamber.
The end cap you took off is meant for inspection of the cone. The cone is tech’d for hole diameters and total number. As well as other possible tech spec’s.
