Hi, I‘m looking for some track recommendations next year.
Usually I start my karting year in march in north italy.
Mostly in Franciacorta or Lonato. This year was my first time at 7Laghi (btw really great)
I visit a ACI race at Cremona, but I was not satisfied about the track.
So maybe some of the italian guys can tell me something about their favourit track.
Tracks should suit KZ.
Franciacorta likely best for KZ (I race in OK Class so can only assume). It’s not as technical and physical as 7-laghi, though. The former is new generation, the latter was built in the early 2000s and you can feel the bumps etc.
Which race did you attend at Cremona? I like it, it’s very fast & technical, again new generation flow & smooth asphalt. These gets really grippy if there is the same tyre left on the track by others.
I am planning to add a series of ‘track walk’ videos on my YouTube channel, if can help familiarising with those tracks beforehand (Franciacorta’s should be live soon)
For me personally Franciacorta is much tougher than 7Laghi.
I really like 7Laghi, apart from the bumps and the tarmac in the paddock.
We visited a Camp. Italiano round at Cremona.
