Anything helps. Pretty sure luck is what allows some folks to not get crushed to death and ultimately buried under much weight. They say swimming helps. That would be hard with giant snow boulders pummeling you, however. Some pop out on/near the surface. I’ve fortunately never been buried although I have set off a layer and kept on trucking laterally till I was out of the way. That happened only 2X, thankfully. I also ended up in a well once, which was a learning experience. I survived it but it was pretty damn close. Fortunately was able to unbuckle and reach trunk and not drown.
Safest bet is stay in the ropes, duh. But powder… One could go Heli or Cat Skiing in BC or something if one wanted to get powder. They seem to have so much of it that tree skiing alone is super risky.
Let’s go, Ted
Am I a bad influence? I apologize to your family. I was unsuccessful in my attempts to get Warren to do stupid things, so maybe you are more suggestible and I can live vicariously through you.
