Had a question from someone interested in getting into karting, specifically oval, preferably dirt in Maryland.
Anyone have thoughts as to where to send him for info, etc.
Not sure exactly where matters specifically. More looking for a point of contact for someone who is looking for info. I know nothing about oval. Guy is in Salisbury but presumably its not too big a place.
Because people (generally) travel by distance not by states. Depending on where someone is, often the closest track can be in a different state when you search by radius.
Looks like there’s a lot of ovals out that way…
Good lord! The place is crawling with em. And we have all of 2 sprint tracks in NJ, one of which is a parking lot. Thanks James.

King George Speedway is still around. In King George VA. One of my good friend’s used to own and operate that track in the 90s and early 00s. http://kinggeorgespeedway.net/
I think there are some dirt ovals in Delaware and on the Eastern Shore of MD, too.
