OTK MXJ, and MXP are painted wheels. Powder coat away. Powder coat is essentially just another form of paint anyhow. I wouldn’t paint an MXC, or MXQ as those are only plated/anodized for corrosion resistance, and then interior epoxied to prevent leaks as Paul mentioned earlier.

Haha it might be a touch long.
Yes we ran them, no issues with the coating at all. Only damage was from wheel banging with another kart.
