Pre-Race/Track Pump Up Jams

You know me damn well now dom … i im always dream of rebuilding a toyota tacoma from scratch. Even i got the workshop book for her at the library!

Its a gray inport from usa if someone whants to do such a task here in europe we never see them as a model .

.we have the toyota hilux series only . As a pick up from them . We may see a tacoma series from this year and on . But im only liked the first american version of course.

Not as cool as Marty’s ride, but my first (and only) new car purchase was an 83 similar to this, but the wheels had gold centers, the roll bar was black and it had a black brush guard and running boards.

While it’s intended purpose proved to be impossible (make me cool ). It was fun driving long 50-60 mph opposite lock drifts through the snow on the way to Tahoe ski resorts, with RATT in the cassette player; 4WD is just to get going .

I don’t condone my silly behavior, but different times, and I knew what I was doing.

You must bring it to life, by channeling your soul through it.

I had a Daihatsu charade as my Tahoe car. Many a blizzard in that little 3-banger. If it ever were to get stuck, I’d just pick it up and carry it to Tahoe.

Daihatsu charade turbo edition with the small 3 cilinder 1000cc engine was a pocket bomb !

I got it as my personal car , after my ford escort …and change it for the sweet eyes of an uno turbo 1.4cc back on thoise days of youth .

It’s a bit newer than the Charades you guys are talking about.

They are still a 1lt 3 cylinder. Not turbo anymore though. I will be fixing this non turbo flaw very soon.

I love daihatsu so incredibly reliable small cars ,

Japanese tech and build culture on them are something to talk about . Daihatsu never lost her character as its gets bigger amd bigger throw decades .
Most of their models are unbreakable but the small ones it makes are the sweetest !

The only problem i had with the turbo charade gtti was a weak clutch system . The default one didn’t last too long but when i went upgrade with a better and stronger aftermarket one . Problem solved.

It’s funny you mention weak clutch.

I had mine in San Francisco and I was forever having to have clutch resurfaced.

I suppose it wasnt the turbo edition you got there …

Coz the combination of an erratic turbo kick from that small but vicious engine along with my heavy on the gas right foot , gave me 3 exchanges on the clutch on a 1.5 years period . So i didnt have any other way than to upgrade .

I was always on the loose in any joyride i got with that small rocket !

It wasnt my fault ! Dat car make me do things like that .

It was a high rpm seeker demon !

They still use the same clutch! The clutch from my 2004 will fit the gtti. I have a excedy heavy duty clutch. I know the HD clutch is fine for more than double the stock power of the engine as is.

DOHC 16Valve engine with EFI… 100hp from the factory . I wasnt afraid of no ghosts those days somewhere like early 90s with that small samurai!!
