- Is this so classic americana ( culture ) as i can feel it playing on the kitchen now ??
2 . Is the american national tv networks still playing such films late night’s and you have to go for sleep but you make the extra mile and stay awake with cold pizza to still watch it one more time ,? Coz in greece there still give it to us .
I can’t speak for everyone but I haven’t watched broadcast tv in a very very long time. Basically I just stream from Netflix Amazon apple etc. I cut the cord on cable tv years ago.
I do remember, as a kid, there being an “end” to programming on tv later at night. But my memory of that was from France, where there was only 3 channels. In the USA we had more channels and iirc when the “network” (ABC, NBC, CBS) went to sleep, the “UHS” channels (sort of like the am radio stations of tv) kept going.
Speaking of which, one of the most underrated movies of all time: Weird Al Yankovitch’s “UHF”
