Differences can vary depending on the series, but typically the minimum age for the masters category is 30 years old vs 15+ for pro/senior, and the minimum weight is usually around 15lbs heavier for masters compared to the pro/senior shifter class. Engines typically are the same. The notable exception is that SKUSA allows 175cc IAME SSE engines in their master shifter class but not in their pro class. Lap time differences can also vary - figure roughly a 1 second advantage to the pro category and give or take a few tenths depending on the track.
