Anyone have both engine or maybe tried both engine? I wanna know about the pros and cons. Hows the x30 durability compare to rok.
We have mostly run the rok gp but have rented x30s every now and then. My driver prefers the rok but that’s what he is used to driving. According to him the rok takes a little more finese to drive, rolling onto the throttle tends to be required rather than just mashing it like with the x30. He also enjoys that the rok tends to be a bit quicker with a big midrange punch when the power valve opens. The x30 is smooother and easier to drive according to him. Despite the smoother ride it is fairly comprable to the rok in overall lap time on our local track so no real/large difference there unless you prefer a greater challange driving. The most important thing to consider in my opinion is what is more popular and supported where you will be racing. We’ve enjoyed the rok but overall x30 has more of a following and you’ll have a greater liklihood of fitting in and competing heads up with others.
