What do you make of the purple and light-blue RPM lines?
Driver is not lifting, but engine looses power on the straight.
Loses a lot of temp when it drops off. Too rich on jetting maybe?
What jet and float height? Can your driver hear any popping or does the engine splutter?
If you use the Rotax jetting app what does it recommend for you?
Jets was 125 (stamped value) 132 Measured value, ambient approx 7-8 celcius ~ 45F
did go as low as 121 (stamped value) 128 Measured value
Float was 3mm.
Driver did complaint about engine sporadically stuttering
JettingMaxApp recommended 127/8/9
Try going up on jet. You’ve probably gone to lean then if you are 6 sizes or so smaller than recommended. EGT is hard to read on Rotax as the timing curve has it pulling power and temps tended to comes down.
Is the data from another driver? What jet did they run?
Check your electrical connections. Toss in a new spark plug if what you have is older.
I just had to toss one of my older harnesses. Had an intermittent misfire. Would run great one session then terrible the next. Bad wire somewhere. This probably isn’t your issue and I would start with fueling and plug first just something to be aware of.
Data is same driver, it appears random, some sessions it is more dominant than others.
Will check electricals
Thanks.
I was able to reach under my seat and wiggle the harness while driving and cause the issue.
Is this an older engine and wiring harness?
Both are 1 year old, will try and replace harness
Weak battery causes loss of high RPM…I’d try replacing that and see if issues go away.
