Stripped wheel stud

Somehow stripped a wheel nut on my front hub. How would I remove the stud?

I’d first try with a good vice grip or a good adjustable plier, and last resort drill it out :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Heat it slightly if someone has put some loctite on it and tap it with a hammer

Grinding a couple of flats onto the stud can help to grab with vice grips. If it has been locktited in, then some heat to the stud can help break that down.
If you drill it out, use a good cobalt bit as the stud is harder than mild steel.

Since you have a bit to grab onto, you could likely use a tool similar to this.

Hammer one of these onto it and then use an impact. The impact will hammer the cutting teeth into even more and whizz it right out
