Summer Book Read

I would like to share with you all an inspirational book I just finished. My youngest son is on the Autism Spectrum and also enjoys flagging motorsports. Every weekend he sets up his flag stand and flags races as he watches on TV. During the most recent Indy 500 we learned about the flagger Aaron Likens who had been diagnosed with Aspergers (which is part of the Autism spectrum). Aaron has written/published his story called “Playing In Traffic”. Aaron started as a kart racer but eventually found his way into flaging including several years with the SKUSA series. I have just finished the book and it is both educational and entertaining. It is an easy read for teens and up. Highly recommended.
