This is really good. This is what you’d direct a car/gearhead type friend who was thinking about karting to. But it’s also great for folks already somewhat knowledgeable. He does a really thorough job of explaining how it all comes together, almost a tuning walkthrough.

I think the part where he said (paraphrasing here) that karting is a great place to start, and a great place to stay is on point.

I think this video is awesome, and as soon as I watched it I knew it would be my go to intro for anyone that is interested in learning more about karting and doesn’t know much about it.

I think it’s a pretty solid video. The only thing I would disagree with him on is the expense of shifters. Shifters in my experience aren’t that much more expensive than a KA, especially if you’re running the KA competitively.
