Looks like supernats 28 is at Las Vegas Motor Speedway again this year, and is Nov 12-16! This is my first supernats, so I’m excited.
Should we try to do a kartpulse room block? Who else is going?

I heard it was going to be at the K1 Circuit at some point but that seemed a little too rushed without much official chatter behind it. Anyone know what happened?
Vegas is a bit of a trek for me from So Cal but I’ve always wanted to go to super nats. I’ve heard its unreal. The skill is tremendous.
I may go this year. Always wanted to do it 1 time.

running a shifter class?
Oh yeah! That’s the goal. Applied for a Pro license earlier this year. So we will see where I shake out if I run Masters or Pro.
KA Masters already at over 30 entries, I think probably closer to 40 from what I can see…
KA Sr opened up to 88 and is already almost sold out.
Pro shifter over 30 entries.
Event is gonna be massive.

Sent in my resume to be a tech inspector there - if SKUSA doesn’t get me, I am available as a mechanic.
The FIA would be wise to just give Pro Shifter FIA World Championship status. I am half-joking, but it’s not a million miles away from being a good idea. SKUSA don’t need it of course but still..

SKUSA could set up two circuits. Double entry. Circuit A and Circuit B. You do heats on both. Then you have A group with finals on the Circuit A and B and B.

I’m 34 so yes, I could. People have been asking me about it for a few years now.
It did cross my mind… I would prefer to run senior but I don’t have the option.
@tjkoyen If you do, that could make it 4 bestkarts. Almost OTK levels of grid participation.

Masters is now waitlisted. I snoozed I loosed…..
On the waitlist. I assume someone has to cancel an entry for a waitlister to gain one?? Or is it once the waitlist grows big enough they grow the class size??

I already have serious FOMO with this year’s Supernats. The KA Masters field is going to be seriously impressive.
Regardless of the story lines exiting last weekend’s Summernats, it feels like karting in the US is in a very very good position.
