Telemetry - How to help a driver "sliding" during a stop-go turn (Shifter)

Hello everyone,

Its been a long time since haven’t posted here and hoping all good old friends are keeping well.

The truth is, I am struggling, no lie, moved from a country to another and not using Red Evincos (SKM) anymore, using Yellow MGs (SK2).

Im not managing to break-direct the kart-go, just like you can see on the below print screen and Im using some help from you here.

All rounded circles are where I think Im struggling and not managing to stop, handle and kart and push the throttle, instead, kart is sliding.

In the attached print screen there is a weight difference of around 12kg.

I am open to tips, I am open to criticism, but this has to stop and I’m using any and all advices from here.

Note: All of these data are from the same kart, same tire, the same setting.

Thanks!

Do you have any onboard video? I think that would provide a lot of helpful context around what you and the kart are doing. Based solely on the data and also assuming that you’re the red line and the green is your point of comparison, I’d say your biggest opportunities for time are braking later and with more consistency, and from there making sure you’re slowing the kart all the way before rotating and getting back into the throttle. But it’s hard to provide more detailed feedback beyond that without seeing video.

I don’t completely understand all of the details, but a couple things:

  1. Red Evinco’s and Yellow MG’s a literally the same tire, manufacturer by the same people.
  2. If your kart is 12kg heavier than before, that alone could be the difference in performance.
