For 2019 we changed the format a little bit. We looked back at the attendance of previous years, and we learned that the March club race is always a bit of a struggle. Weather hasn’t always been in our favor in March, therefore we decided to have the Club championship started in April.
This doesn’t mean that we won’t be racing in March! We scheduled a cleanup day and a shakedown race for the March 23/24th weekend. We will get the track ready for the season on the Saturday, and we will be racing on the Sunday! This race will be a fun event with some great prices, and the perfect opportunity to get your gear tested and get ready for the season. We encourage new members to come out to this event as we will be helping out those who can use a hand in learning what kart racing is about.
For 2019 we will be hosting 2 regional events. One will be the Western Canadian Karting Championship and the other will be the NorthWest Gold Cup. As the dates for Westerns has not officially been announced by the organizers we can’t give you the exact date yet. All we can say is we expect it to be sometime in the month of May……
