Guys,
I’m trying to pull the pipe from my TM KZ R2…
It is very tight, and won’t budge at all by hand…
Any tips would be very helpful
Thanks,
Bill
My method has been to carefully place the end of a flathead screwdriver in the gap between the header and the pipe, then wiggle and pull the exhaust while gently prying the pipe away.
Hasn’t failed me yet, but I’d also be interested if anyone else has a better way to do it.
Toss a little heat at it and it will slip right off.
I gave it a couple of whacks with the palm of my hand…. About half way down the pipe, and it came right off…. I’m going to put a little
Anti-seize on the ‘header’ when I reinstall it !
Thanks to all,
Bill
