Sad news today. Per Facebook it looks like one of karting’s longest existing facilities (In operation since 1961) is set to close due to sale of the land.
Man, more of these stories than we wish to see.
Unfortunately kart circuits offer prime real east opportunity.
Reminds one of the kart tracks which is near a car track here was built because the owner was afraid of land invasions
what’s a land invasion?
basically unknown people come to a empty land that has an owner but he/she doesn’t pay attention to it and do a settlement. After that, with connection to judges or the government, they can pass the land as theirs then sell it for an x amount of money
Sad to see, but have to say the way this is communicated to racers or the community is pretty unprofessional.
