Hey, I’m rebuilding a vintage race kart that originally had a metal tank. I am thinking about just making a new one but I was wondering if I should go with a plastic tank. (I am a welder and I can fab up just about anything). kart is going to be use very occasionally at the local track just for fun.

Tab Bell, in California, (He worked for me) is still making the same tanks as he made for me in the 70s and 80s. What karts are you talking about?
We made tanks for Emmick, Hartman, invader, Mayko and several other kart builders in the East.
It’s not Vintage without the original tank! It makes a difference to some!
