We will be new to running a KA next season. I was wondering if there is a brand of gears you like best that don’t wear the teeth down too fast.

Not any real big differences in sprocket quality from brand to brand.
I typically just buy the aluminum gears that aren’t too expensive. I know they are going to wear and as long as the chain is aligned, lube, and proper tension, the gear should last a little while. I’ve come to change the chains fairly often. Once the chains stretch, they will wear out the sprocket faster.
