First I let the tires sit in the sun for about 20 minutes and then spread some P-80 on the bead before attempting to seat. I rarely have to go past 35-40 PSI to get a tire to bead. I do not dilute it however and just use very little in a small squeeze bottle I have.
They offer both. The Rapdio is Birel Based, the Supersonic is IPK Based (It’s basically a Praga Fighter). They use both at various events.
I like IPK products. I am not racing wheel to wheel (I’m doing SCCA SOLO, along with practice days). I also like dealing with Italian motors so this was killed 2 birds with one stone. =)
Sort of a Toyota I have the Subaru version. Same thing, different badge.
And I’m trying to stay young at heart. I’m lucky enough to have the ability to have a fun car and a practical car. There’s no way I’d be able to just have the BRZ as an only car like I did in the past.
Had a blue new one drive by me today… aggressive looking as heck. Totally a sub 40 yr old guy car tho. I couldn’t pull it off. Dentist 911 is age appropriate.
Trying to streamline and organize my trailer and tools for this season. Just picked up a 3 piece 90 tooth ratchet set, and a 9 piece extension set, both sets in fitted foam trays, and both sets for $100 total.
This is most excellent. I had a BRZ for a while and loved it, except for the FA20. The new car fixes that and I absolutely love the few I have had a chance to autocross. NT03+M’s are also a favorite wheel of mine. My garage currently consists of my Minivan (Daily+Kart Transport), the shifter Kart and finally, a 981 Cayman S (Dream car, had to get one before they got dumb expensive).
Finally pulled the dyno I bought back in early December out of the corner and got it anchored down in the new engine corner of the very disorganized home shop.
What I need is smaller sized stuff appropriate for the smallish stuff we deal with on alu rigs. The screw part is always a hex which I have a nice set for.
One of the issues I run into is accesssing both sides of the screw/bolt.
If the bolt is below mounted in the bottom of the rig I’d like to be able to come at it vertically (from below) as opposed to horizontal (like a wrench would).
So, in addition to a set of small wrenches, what do I need to tighten bolts vertically?
