At the last race, the final started pretty wet, but dried quickly. I started with a new set of wets, but the fronts got pretty beat up.

Those are good for light rain or damp conditions now. Less tread = moves less water. If it’s very wet you want all the tread you can get. If it’s just damp or lightly raining, less tread will be better because the tire is already heat cycled so it will be more durable and you don’t need all the tread to clear water so the tire will be more stable and move less on the tread blocks too.
You have a good set of inters now.
I wouldn’t race on those if you want to be competitive. But for practice should be no dramas.
