When you get boned by data

On a side note, this is definitely designed by a racing driver. They even named the corners accordingly.

If you’re new, don’t drown in the data. Find a good baseline, and drive. Work on lap times by improving your driving skills. It’s more rewarding and less frustrating than chasing the mythological perfect set-up.

In a 206, I’m always on the limiter some times I hit it so hard I’m sure my engine is going to call the cops. If I am not on the limiter in the strait I can almost guarantee, If I go shorter on gearing my lap times improve. In my last outing, I ran much shorter then most of the field and should have won the event but a lapped kart turned down on me.

What do you mean by shorter? More teeth or less teeth?

Turn 19: old school cool.

He looks so happy to be there. I hope they let him take it out for a spin too!!

Monticello is a big drafting track. You need to have someone on the same gear to work with to be fast. If you don’t usually, because everyone is on a Subaru, I’d gear higher so you hit the limiter in between 5/6. When I was there with Cup Karts, the top 7 were on the same gear in the final.

We were hitting 59mph on the limiter just past turn 5
