Who Makes What (2022)

I can’t help but notice the threaded hole doesnt line up for the upper slot. I assume thats probably for shifter only.

What is the majority of the hardware? Righetti? Or are spindles, cassettes, caster eccentrics, etc. in-house?

Factory Karts make the parts that make these karts unique in-house, and the parts that aren’t are selected from vendors including Righetti Ridolfi, KKart, El Zet, and some American automotive suppliers.

@KartingIsLife do you want to split off the Factory Karts discussion from the rest of this thread?

I’d really like to check one out. I’m surprised one hasn’t made it to the Phoenix area yet. I might be in So-Cal in a month or so and swing by to check them out.

Yours could be the first! Write in advance to make sure the team isn’t away at a race so that you don’t end up in Riverside trying to see a chassis through the front door.

Has anyone ran the chassis with Rotax and Mojos?

How about the Pantano karts, is that an independent brand as well?

It shows as being homologated by "Gpat Srls "

You can add ITK - Italian Kart (not to be confused with Italkart). It’s a new brand, recently homologated. I’ve seen their shifter and single speed chassis in person during my last trip to Italy, very high quality robotic welding and custom parts like brake systems. I’ll post something soon, they may start selling in US too at some point. Built by the same guy who owns NEK seats. Redirecting...

Nice looking kart. Alpinestars may be annoyed by the similar logo.

ahahah now that you are mentioning it…

Looks like a Parolin built machine. Looking at their FB they had a gray colored frame this year and it looks just like the Atomica karts which are parolin built.

I can’t say much at this stage but it’s not made by any of the major manufacturers, so it’s not a simple rebrand of an existing chassis. I got so caught up in talking about the features of their shifter that I forgot to take some closeups…but no worries, I’ll post more info and pictures as soon as I get the greenlight. He runs the best-kept-secret racetrack too, to be honest I was so mesmerized by the whole thing that I forgot to take enough pictures of the shop and the karts

Interestingly, no Parolin fairings tho

Very true, however there are some karts currently made by Parolin that are using the KG bodywork. More so in the cadet karts, but it happens. It may not be made by Parolin but definitely some similarities.

Is Praga making the Tillitson chassis?

Yes, IPK makes the Tillotson chassis.
