Wrench is stuck on front floor pan bolt OTK

I am an idiot. I got a ratcheting wrench stuck on the front floor pan bolt underneath the heel rest plate. I can’t loosen it to take the floor off because it’s a ratcheting wrench. It’s stuck on the bolt and wedged up against the floor pan.

I taped a ruler over the wrench to hold the bolt in place because I couldn’t put the floor pan back on otherwise. Who the hell designed this anyways.
But please help.

Take all the belly pan bolts out then drill out the bolt that the wrench is connected to.try to drill to depth of top of belly pan.pry down on belly pan in the middle near the bolt you drilled out why sliding the belly pan out to clear the bolt that you drilled out.if you have rubber spacers between belly pan and frame tabs with them out that will give you more wiggle room .drill the bolt first so it keeps the belly pan stable while drilling👍

Also, take that footrest off, it will give you a bit more visibility and potential access.

I usually use a socket from above before the footrest is installed. Then I fight the foot rest install a little, but it is an easier fight.

Pretty much a no go on the footrest. I fought it for a full hour before taking off the floor pan to put it on. That’s how I got into this situation. One of the worst designs I have ever seen. I used a flanged nut and it literally just spun on the underside of the heel protector. I don’t know what to do

I have something similar to this on my otk foot rest, but it’s a plate with fixed nuts. I can hold the plate and screw the bolts in

this goes on the underside of the heel rest right? but genius, this might be the answer

Ours came with that block on bottom from the factory? I would want to toss it without that!!!

I know mine did not, as well as Power Republic did a video on installing theirs and it did not have that. But definitely ordering right now.

Yes. It fits underneath to clamp the heel rest down. Way easier than loose nuts
