One thing missed was there was a small chance of rain, and the extra ride-height you get from the wets and intermediates, as well as lower speed would alleviated any skid block risk too.

Sad to Ferrari resulting to such tricks because they were not able to design a car in 4 years of the ground effect era.
I understand they are trying to gather as much data for 2026 but still, I don’t get how you can go from F1-75 (Fast) to the SF25 (Slow and cant make the tyres work)
2022 was a year of teams figuring out the bouncing, then the FIA raised ride-heights. So it’s a bit of skewed picture.
The bigger mystery is the fall of the RedBull and assent of McLaren. The turnaround from 2023 to now is enormous.

I think they will do a decent job and they took the right step towards that by signing two experienced drivers for their first season in Perez and Bottas.
I think Stroll just tried the Ross Chastain wall-ride. Didn’t work out quite as well for him as it did for Ross…

It seems like not much has changed over the break. Great showing from Hadjar and Lawson today. I think Hadjar will want to recapture the early season hype he had before the rookie of the year pendulum started to swing Gabi’s way. Very tough for me to choose between them, but if I was TP and had to sign one, I think I’d pick Gabi because he’s doing it in a worse car with a better teammate.
F1’s calls and rules of engagement drive me nuts sometimes. Sainz getting 10s penalty when Lawson literally just drifted out into him, ridiculous.

The Sainz penalty is absurd. How can you penalize the car on the outside who is being pushed wide? Sainz didn’t turn into him, if anything Lawson opened the wheel. I don’t understand how it’s Carlos fault that he was run wide.

That was a busy race. Sainz penalty was wild. Lecerc went full send on russell and I’m here for it. Max again drags the tractor bull up to the front.
Zandvoort looks incredible.
Hadjar is a long way from his spin and walk back to the pits in race one.

- Sainz penalty is a huge mess up by the FIA, and everyone is aware of it. Pretty much why they would ghost him after the race.
- Lawson move was stupid. Bro forgot Lindblad was getting a sit next year ?
- Double DNF of Ferrari, damn. Very strange mistake by Lewis though, it is concerning.
- Sad for Lando, but this has not decided the championship. Canada was clearly worse for him.

Zandvoort seems like it would be a blast doing one lap speeds in a kart. Further proof It’s strange as a F1 track. Oscar looks like he has the title wrapped up.
