Huh. First I’ve seen that. Like for a phone.
Any suggestion on best GoPro settings to use with the surreal mount? I tried it out a couple days ago and with hypersmooth set to boost it viewed very oddly. not exactly sure how to explain it but almost like star wars speederbike FPV… could have been it was just capturing the tarmac and not showing a reference like the nose cone. I was going to try other hypersmooth modes to increase some movement to see if that will improve the realism?
I like to keep smoothing and anti-shake to a minimum or else it will try to follow the horizon and skew what direction you’re seeing so you can’t tell where the kart is actually pointing.
Thanks TJ! think that sums up the viewing results I was seeing when set at boost mode. just didn’t seem relative to what was actually happening.
I think there is a video on youtube from a media Company that specializes in kart and motorsports footage, explaining which setups work best, I’ll see if I can dig it out
I’ve seen footage that looks odd because of horizon locking. I do all of my videos with the motion reduction on but I’m pretty sure it’s the horizon stabilizer option that causes weirdness.
Here is what I use on my Hero 10
Resolution: 4K
Frame Rate: 60 fps
FOV: SuperView
HyperSmooth: Strong
Exposure Comp: -0.5 EV
Bit Rate: High
Wind: On
Everything else I leave at the default settings. Works really well for me!
