Ok made a couple of changes. Let’s see how that goes.
Well now I have 3 ads about needing to workout 
and a blank space where I’m guessing an ad isn’t loading.
I’m getting no ads (20 characters)
Im logged but seeing ads on the main page.
I’ll continue to troubleshoot and see if I can find the issue
Also good lord some of those ads are massive. I’ll fix that too 
I’m getting ads as well. Chrome mobile on iOS. Tried the log out-log in trick and they still show.
I have stayed logged in and not seen any ads for a while now.

Theirs is really weird: I can close the ad on Clayton’s screenshot:
On his screenshot I can click the X and close the ad. It’s of his screen and his login. I’m on my login viewing the screenshot from the thread.
OK that is very weird, I’m able to do same. I’ll have to talk with the plugin authors I think. Maybe request a customization… Hmm
/edit turns out it’s just a function of way the forum software moved to the next image of a post on click\tap.
I cleared the Cloudflare cache and created another regular user for myself to test… Will see how it goes…

As an extra data point, on my PC, I see no ads ever as I continue to be logged in. In all seriousness, I dont even notice ads much anymore. They are basically a part of every internet site ever. Do as you need with them.
They are for sure common on the internet, but they take away from the experience and make websites seem less personal (At least to me)
Also if you see any “dumb” ads let me know. Ideally the stuff should be somewhat on brand. I’ve turned off certain categories, but will continue tweaking. I don’t think we need Viagra BS all over the site

I created a separate “new” account and I’m unable to repeat this using chrome on iOS.
I’ll keep trying though.
