Kart Republic Body Work

Hey guys, I was just curious if any one knows if Kart Republic are bringing out new body work for 2025? Are they following in the footsteps of OTK and KG?

As far as I know they will be the same.
Parolin only released a new set of stickers

Parolin has a new kit? Any pics?

That kit predates the current one.

Oops, I confused because I saw it was a recent post so I assumed it was a new stickers pack

there is gonna be a new one

any hints as to what it could look like, when its released??

Can’t say anything… sorry

There is deff a new one, and it’s definitely interesting

Homologated Nassau Panels whereby their primary function is showing a race number shouldn’t ever be interesting. :woman_shrugging:

Cmon man, you’ve been in the sport long enough to know how these things go…

Everyone understands marketing and hey, if you can gain a micro edge on some interesting developement along the way, why not…

it’s simple.

These are homologated devices mandated by the governing body for safety, not performance. This means, as governing body who mandates them, you have a burden of responsibility they are not used to performance gain, or limited.

The FIA did this with the Halo to protect F1 teams- FIA to ban Ferrari’s halo-mounted mirror layout - yet you don’t do the same to protect karters and their budgetary issues.

We now have a scenario where you go to a club meeting and people are wondering whether they need to spend 200-300 testing Nassau panels. There is literally no benefit to the sport to introduce items that affect performance that users can’t actually modify themselves. You HAVE to buy them, you can’t make your own.

it’s quite the disgrace in my view and reflects very poorly on the FIA. you could either do a price cap, or severely limit the potential for aero development. Instead, it’s open season. A number plate and a mount would do exactly the same job, yet instead people are inflicted with the nonsense of these ludicrously priced pieces of plastic, that are protected via homologation.

Shameful in my view and a real failure of governance. just shows how detached the FIA are from reality.

A KG nassau is 100 euros.

Also, i don’t work for the FIA anymore.

  1. That’s a lot of money. I can get retro ones for 20 euro.
  2. If there is a performance gain, you need to buy them all to test. So it’s not one cost.

Sad to see you’re not at the FIA any more as it was nice to actually see someone passionate about karts working there.

$162 AUD for a nassau panel is wild

For now KR revealed yesterday new inner stickers

This actually is a great innovation because cleaning white pods is a nightmare so this gives better coverage.

Also it weighs more which is a benefit for me.

Now that I think of it, inner decals has more tangible benefits than most of the new “innovations” brands come out with these days.

I’m actually surprised we haven’t seen that done sooner in the US. With so many GoPros mounted on the seat struts and radiators I would’ve thought someone recognized they could add a couple more team logos there for visibility

I’m surprised we haven’t seen gold plated or diamond encrusted ones yet :joy:
