New X30 Ignition

Is there any functional/performance difference for the new ignition?

There were some comments on this thread that any performance differences were due to the new pipe, but it was never really confirmed that new and old electronics were equivalent in performance.

The consensus in the paddock at the New Castle USPKS race was that the ignition also has a performance advantage. The pipe is a bigger advantage but according to those who know, something was found in the ignition as well. All the karts in the X30 classes had the complete new package - engine, ignition, and airbox.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Good info…
