Looks badass! Who did you suit?
Any clue what kind of camera? Nice quality.
Pryde made the suit and graphics!
@Bimodal_Rocket, I don’t recall the exact model. It was a Canon EOS R, I think R3. So not a cheap camera!!!
I used to dabble in photography 20 years ago and had an early Canon EOS DSLR, so Todd let me check his out. It was freaking amazing. The subject tracking feature was unreal and has to make high speed shooting so much easier than when I played around with them.
What helmet is that ? Looks good tho.
Thank you. They seem amazingly capable now.
Got some new drip (courtesy of my perfect girlfriend) for my birthday to match my helmet @tjkoyen
My other hobby is bird / wildlife photography. Modern mirrorless cameras are absolutely incredible and are only getting better. All the manufacturers are in a race to develop better and better subject detection AI algorithms. It is a pretty awesome time to be a photographer shooting action!
I really want to go shoot karting events but it is hard when you are racing in them! One of these days I’ll try my hand at it!

Nice look! Happy birthday!
@kennkart its the one safety item we spent money on when we started 18 months ago. Was ok going cheap on a 1st suit, but not helmet.
It’s Zamp RZ64 Carbon Fiber with a blue tint visor and rear spoiler. He pulled the big Z logo off, replaced the Zamp visor strip with a Driven Performance Products | Driven Management strip, added the spoiler, and added HANS posts. Also pulled off the side scoops at a humid/wet race and left them off.
Next helmet will be a Bell or RB2 through Driven.
Overall it looks sharp with his suit and livery. And of course, that’s really what the 16 year old cares about.
Why do i look so tall😭 im 164
And here some proof that karting drivers have 0 brain cells (atleast my team mates)

I did all my work in film, color and b+w. The end of my career we were using the eos and Nikon pro cameras and glass.
I have not owned a high end modern DSLR, but really would like to. I can hear my wallet crying, though. I’ve resisted thus far and allowed myself to go hog wild on action cams though. Worst case scenario those are 500 bucks every two years.
I still recall the Leica 800mm telephoto lens that came with a free Jetta to carry it (80s).
I think the nicest lens I had (other peoples money) was the Nikon 300 f2.8. Stunningly good lens, but also very pricey.
Birding seems like a lot of fun and a great way to travel and do outdoors stuff. I had a pair of owls take up residence for a bit on our property and wished I could have gotten better photos.
Some pics from the Vetrans Day Celebration at The Podium Club. They had Sports Cars, Formula Cars, Bikes and Karts. We did a special wrap for the event. On track photo by Aperthis Photography. Nice stuff!
That’s a nice livery!
Dang! How was this in my backyard and I didn’t know about it.
Looks like good fun and your kart/suit combo is wicked.
We are doing our regular race at Podium Club on the 26th. We’ll have a lot more karts and all the usual ProAutoSports race cars and street cars. It’s free to get in, come on down!
