From the first race of the Puget Sound Go Karting Association 2025 season.

Thanks dude, we’re stoked with how it all came out. These were prototype decal kits; the official ones should have fluo orange inlays at some point too which should really kick it all off.

Kart Lounge managed to get a few of me from last weekend too. The good news is I won every session I finished. The bad news is that the final was not one of those sessions (snapped chain). Oh well, we’ll get em next time.

BestKart testing ambitions weren’t quite what TJ had anticipated but being a seasoned pro, he rolled with it.

I was watching live timing. So bummed for ya man! At least the pace is easily there. Will you do Indy?

Maybe. I’d like to be there, but with kid #2 weeks or possibly days away I’m not certain I’ll be able to make it. Could be a game time decision.

I’ll post quite a few pictures of my Autocross shenanigans over the last 12 months. Absolutely still loving my Italkart Supersonic and I just upgraded from a ROK Shifter to a TM-KZ R1 (Special, Supernats motor that Lammers ran).

From the 2024 SCCA SOLO Nationals - 24 Kart Drivers. My-Co Driver finished 3rd, I finished Fifth.

Not a cool Photo, but random lapping sessions at Trackhouse are a good excuse to take a day off work. Pictured, my professional race-hauler-setup

Screen shot from a video. I understeered straight into a cone, punted it 10 feet in front of me and then flipped it off before punching it out of the way (Video below the picture)

No Idea what event this is from. I’ll just say the rear tires must have been pretty cold with that much wheel angle. I do know I have re-positioned my seat to lean back quite a bit further since then, though.

This isn’t a cool picture, but I did make a cute little hat for my cylinder when hitting up trackhouse on a pretty cold day. It actually worked pretty great.

Sometimes we autocross at pretty cool places. This is the “Little Rock” course at Rockingham speedway. Sending it on steep banking in a kart can be wild, especially as it can get pretty bumpy.

I’m sure there’s a lot of cool photos, but that’s all I can find.

The cone shot is pure, relatable comedic gold.

Sam, (or anyone else that would like to respond) I know this is a dumb question…novice here. I know track house, have rented there and i know where you are parked. Do you drive the kart from where you park or do you dolly it closer to the track? It seems getting from veh./trailer to track is a big question mark for me in karting. I live in the moto world so that’s never a problem getting to the start line regardless of the distance. If i get a kart I’ll be by myself (wife has no intrest) so no help lifting kart.

Also, how big is karting with SCCA? I had no idea karts were a part of scca. I’m in Charlotte area…Fort Mill area. Tia.

When I raced there I would roll it over closer to the grid. I don’t think they like people driving up to pit exit.

Well that’s epic.

This movie shall go down in history with the other motorsports greats like “On any Sunday”. And “Death Race 2000”

Thanks! Ive wondered about that. I wish it was like all other motor sports where you drive up to the start line

Probably insurance. And you also just have the public there for rentals that would probably get ran over (someone on their phone just walking right in front of you)

Lol…ok that does make sence.
