Post a cool Pic of you in your Kart

This is a great point. My initial feelings are that based on the current state of AI art generation (at least within chat gpt), I see it like the fast food equivalent of art. Can get the job done, and quickly, but lacking that extra bit of thought and attention to detail.

Love this shot from @Ted_Hamilton

Jeez you are lucky to have such a good photographer pal hanging around your track! Here’s the same color treatment as the other one, since they so similar:

Makes me wish I was “local” to new castle haha

Come down and join sometime! It’s really just us practicing, so all are welcome.

That’s on my bucket list , and wroted down just before,go ro bed .

So maybe my wish come true

He’s a phenomenon!

He always catches the speed in the pics :raising_hands:t2:

He’s very good!!!

Yeah, since I don’t use a dslr, I can’t control shutter and can’t do what he does (pan for mild background blur or shoot with telephoto lens).

But then again I get to drive the kart.

It was my flying lap

Clearly, you flew out of Newark

That Birel nosecone… :smiling_face_with_tear:

I’m sorry that’s not a Compkart…

Yeah I know  Might be making the switch. Trying to launch a race team here in Phoenix.

Might be doing another round of testing with another brand…

Thats karting .
Thats my kartpulse heartbeat racing over there .

Sometimes i cant tell if i am a race driver that is repairing windrurbines or i am i wind turbine technicial who race on his free time karts .

Quote from McQueen

Why not both? Also, you could spice the workday up by figuring out how to race wind turbines.

My son Conor (kart 0) and I (kart 42) raced in the Buckeye Karting Series event at Thompson Kart Raceway last weekend. It was cold, ~mid 50s the whole weekend, but a nice turnout - 12 or so 206 Masters and 15 more or less 206 Senior drivers. Things went pretty well and we both got significantly faster over the two days (practice Saturday and races Sunday). Unfortunately I threw a chain (first time ever in a race :person_facepalming:) on the out lap for the Masters Final and Conor got mugged in turn one of his final and eventually decided to pull off. Fun was had regardless… and my daughter took a few hours off from her graduate studies at Kent State to come up and visit!

@KartingIsLife , Carson really talked up Extreme Karting on Ice at the drivers meeting. :tada:

A visit from my daughter

This is a nice shot of Conor on the grid.

@Muskabeatz if you and the New Castle crew ever want to make the trip to G&J, we’ll always slip you guys in as your own shifter class if you show up with a couple karts. I’ve got a couple guys who are usually willing to roll one out if a couple people show up. Just register under the non-points exhibition class and we’ll sort you out on race day.

That’s good to know, and I appreciate you mentioning it! There are a few folks that I’m sure would be interested, so it’s just a matter of scheduling.
