I was told that we would hit about 70 mph. this was 1984-ish.
Goin old school. Early 90’s
That is a very cool looking vehicle.
It was a great first kart. Rock hard tires that lasted a whole season, zero maintenance belt drive, only had to change the oil a couple times a year. Ah the days of simplicity. It was a late 80’s Margay Puma with a 5hp briggs flathead.
My first and still my baby since 2004. Lol
This is my first (very recent) kart I put headlight & brake lights on it. Starts 2-3 pulls and gets up to 44mph on streets with my 220 pounds driving. Not sure of the frame manufacturing or i should say maker kuz its pretty dang solid with Briggs flathead pushing me.Can’t wait to upgrade and get to a track…
Me in 1999/2000 with a CRG chassis. The next two years in a new CRG chassis put me over the top. Due to funds we had to stop and 14 years later im back at it again but on my own this time.
I don’t have a picture of my 1st kart, which was a 1980’s something Elite that was way past it’s prime…but here is my second…a 1995 Coyote FX-1
I retired in 1998, but have just now come back out as my 9 yr old is racing 206 Sportsman at BKC, here’s my new Kart 20 yrs later, 2008 Coyote SS. My grandpa, who is 90 yrs old asked me if I was ever going to grow up, I said not looking like it at this point.
Here’s my son in his first kart, yes another Coyote. 1999 Free Roller.
pkra 2018 15years away from the sport. and back at it. with a ten year old energy kart and my08 on board
