Pre-Race/Track Pump Up Jams

Original Underoath vocalist (I’m a mega Underoath fan), never really listened to Maylene before. It rips! Slide guitar in a metal song is sick.

This whole album (III) is pure gold. Saw them at a small venue in 2010 or 2011 - they’re so good live.

This 2 beaches called the varellei . " means the big barrels " .

Its just under one of our windfarms . Its not a crowded place to take your swim there even when its prime time summer coz you have to drive throw the cooperhead roads to reach them .

But dont worry about that coz you will have your private local driver when you put your feet on karystos .

Fresh hardcore band I discovered this week. They shred. 2000 listeners on Spotify, so they’re tiny. I feel like I’m back in high school discovering the most obscure death metal/grindcore bands I can find on Myspace and bringing it to school to show my friends the next day…

Off the top of my head:
Spiritbox (my favorite band and probably the most popular female fronted metal band at the moment)
Dying Wish (also saw them open for Spiritbox lately)
Crazy Eight Eight/Red Handed Denial (both fronted by Lauren Babic who is a beast)
Gore. (new-ish band from Texas, lead singer Haley is also a NASA engineer)
Terminal Sleep
All of Poppy’s most recent albums, started out as dreamy art-pop and now makes shredding metal/hardcore
Oathbreaker (Scandavian black metal, though they have been on hiatus for years)
Unleash the Archers (more power metal so not really my thing but their singer is like classically trained and godly)

Depending on how gimmicky you want to get, might be worth checking out Babymetal too which is cute Japanese girls doing pop-metal. Kawaii-metal is a whole other subgenre that I can’t really vibe with but some people like it and there’s a lot of cool talent there.

@Stamatis125 yes of course, though I never really got into Silverchair. Not really a grunge fan except Nirvana.

Courtney’s range is amazing and she sounds studio-quality live as well.

I wonder if anyone has bought that and accidentally ended up building a high downforce racecar

Adrian Newey OBE is arguably one of Britain’s greatest engineers and this is his fascinating, powerful memoir.!!

It is a fantastic summer read Dom !!

Good morning U.S.A. and god bless you .

I’ve only recently adopted EGGS BENEDICT…how have I been missing that my whole life?! With a proper Doppio espresso, the best way to start a day.

I worked for the green mermaid company until I got framed for embezzling (manager was arrested, but not before blacklisting me…) and now I prefer independent coffeeshops. I still return sometimes for their peppermint mocha at the holidays… Anyhow,

Coffee culture is expanding, which I like, and I live in the HQ city for Krispy Kreme (Winston-Salem, NC). My dad, however was a manager for a Mr. Donut – I think the Dunkin and Mr. Donut guys were brothers who had a feud for something. Mr. Donut is now largely defunct. But they were better…lol So, as a former dairy farmer (430am getup) and former baker (also 430am) getup, I appreciate coffee fully, in all its’ varieties!
